Dr. Leshabari visited the JICA office in Tokyo to learn about their projects in Tanzania. She learned about JICA midwifery project in Brazil "humanization of childbirth" and became confident that Women-Centered Care must be applicable to Tanzania.

On July 8th, we had a welcome lunch party for Dr. Leshabari. Dr. Leshabari gave a speech for St. Luke's faculty and students.

With the staff of St. Luke's Birth Clinic. Dr. Leshabari visited the clinic to learn about midwifery-led model of care in Japan.
